Catholic Schools Office - Archdiocese of Boston
Our Catholic schools offer an education that combine academic excellence and Catholic faith formation to ensure life long learning and the development of responsible and compassionate citizens. We reach over 43,000 students (Pre-K-12th Grade) every year through a network of 124 schools. A major part of our mission is finding new approaches to organize, fund, and manage Catholic education across the Archdiocese. We work with school leaders to implement new and viable models for Catholic education.
Roche Center for Catholic Education
The Barbara and Patrick Roche Center for Catholic Education, rooted in the Ignatian culture of Jesuit education and the Catholic intellectual tradition, provides opportunities for professional advancement, applied research, support programs, and outreach for professional Catholic educators to ensure the success and the advancement of Catholic education beyond the 21st century.
Established by the Boston College Board of Trustees in 2007, the Barbara and Patrick Roche Center for Catholic Education builds on more than a half-century of research, teaching, and outreach related to Catholic schools at Boston College and brings under one banner strategic and successful initiatives to renew Catholic education as an apostolate of hope.
